Saskia Frijling

Whereas its name may imply otherwise, real estate, as a matter of fact meaning ‘property consisting of land or buildings’, is in constant movement. You actually see how surroundings continuously change. And the proverbial ivory tower which the legal profession was supposed to be has long since vanished.

Not only the physical surroundings change visibly, but also the rules and regulations that form the basis of each real estate transaction continuously change. To combine and apply these various dynamics and to shape them in dialogue with a client is the passion of Saskia.

Teamplayer

At PlasBossinade Saskia is chiefly engaged in advising, concluding contracts and - should it be required – conducting legal proceedings. In this respect the central focus lies on communication, with the client, with the opposing party and other stakeholders. Empathy, knowledge of legal possibilities and impossibilities and analytic insight in the vast playing field of real estate transactions characterize Saskia Frijling in her work. This leads to team work with the clients. Saskia Frijling is more often than not an extension of your organization: either in the front line or in the background, whichever the case requires.

Her clients include public and semi-public authorities, project developers, housing corporations, investors/lessors and real estate brokers.

All-round

In the Real Estate practice group Saskia Frijling is all-round. Purchase and sale of real estate, expropriations, rent and lease/ground lease and project and area development are subjects that she may count among her specializations.

In real estate issues a good cooperation with associated subject areas is of major importance. There are short lines with the notarial practice and the administrative and building, procurement and state aid law.
